About the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences

The Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences has been ranked as one of the best Business Schools in Spain by the Eduniversal ranking. The Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences is located on the University's Barcelona Campus.
The Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences aims to prepare students for leadership roles in a rapidly changing integral economy, providing them with a strong foundation in both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, while fostering critical thinking, innovation, and a commitment to social responsibility.
Selection process
In May 2018, EURAXESS awarded the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya with a Human Resources Excellence in Research Award, which ensures that
- A public oral defense by finalist applicants: a presentation about their career (both academic and teaching) and their research projects.
- Following the presentation, the examination panel will ask a series of questions to conclude the defense. The defense should last a total of 60 minutes.
What we’re looking for
- A PhD in a Marketing discipline
- A minimum of 4 years of postdoctoral experience, preferably in areas related to the research groups of the faculty.
We recommend a minimum of 350 hours of teaching experience with good results in terms of student satisfaction.
Assessment criteria
The following aspects of the applicant’s CV will be taken into consideration:
- Proven record of effective teaching.
- Oral and written proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to supervise and guide undergraduate and graduate students in their r
