We are seeking a motivated and entrepreneurial sales professional to join our Fundamental Ratings sales team. This client-facing individual contributor role focuses on developing new business opportunities and growing revenues across Corporates, Financial Institutions, Sovereign and Public Sector entities in Southern Europe, with a special focus in Italy. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level professional (ca. 3-5 years’ experience) with strong growth potential, keen to build a long-term career within a leading European credit rating agency. Position is targeted to be located in Milan or Madrid office of Scope.

Duties & responsibilities
Originate, develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market share expansion for Fundamental Ratings across Corporates, Financial Institutions, Sovereign and Public Sector entities in Southern Europe.
Identify, originate and pursue new business opportunities, including inaugural ratings, renewals, extensions of existing mandates and cross-selling of related products and services.




Act as a trusted commercial point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders (CFOs, Treasurers, Debt Capital Markets teams, public sector officials, advisors and intermediaries).
Proactively manage the full sales cycle, from initial outreach and pitch preparation to mandate execution, fee negotiation and onboarding
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (Analytical, Business Support, Communications and Marketing teams among others) to ensure alignment, high-quality client delivery and effective execution of sales strategies.
Contribute to the development of targeted sales and marketing initiatives, including client events, roadshows, strategic campaigns, presentations and tailored commercial materials.
