The Iberia Technical Pre-Sales & Vendor Success Manager represents Vectra AI, one of Westcon’s strategic network and cybersecurity vendors, on a full-time basis across Spain and Portugal. This is a true hands-on pre-sales role, accountable for converting partner-led opportunities into technically successful projects through solution design, proof-of-value delivery and technical project ownership. The role also needs sufficient commercial judgement to help develop, progress and close opportunities.

Technical Pre-Sales & POV Delivery
• Lead technical discovery, solution positioning and architecture validation for partner-led network-security opportunities.
• Independently run network-security POVs: deployment, configuration, validation, customer readout and handover to the delivery team or partner.
• Deliver product demonstrations, technical workshops and partner enablement; engage senior specialists early for complex architecture or escalated requirements.

Technical Project Ownership
• Take technical ownership from qualification and requirements definition through solution scope,



success criteria and delivery plan.
• Act as the technical focal point for active projects: coordinate dependencies, resolve delivery blockers and keep customer, partner and internal specialists aligned on next steps.

Opportunity Development & Partner Execution
• Work with partners to qualify and advance opportunities, translating technical value into a clear customer outcome, proposal input and closing plan.
• Support priority-account and partner-development activity, including regular customer and partner coverage in Portugal (minimum one week per month).
• Maintain accurate opportunity information, identify commercial risks early and contribute to actions that protect deal progression and target attainment.

Operating Discipline
• Be the primary local technical interface for the assigned vendor portfolio, coordinating partners, sales, marketing and specialists around priority opportuni
