As Privacy Systems Analyst, you will own Rover's privacy tech stack, configuring and maintaining the privacy platform and its connected systems. You’ll partner with the GRC team to ensure compliance capabilities are delivered reliably at scale. You’ll automate manual tasks, including with AI tooling, and lead integrations and incident response related to privacy. This role blends hands-on engineering with cross-functional collaboration to safeguard data and enable compliant, scalable operations. You’ll work in a hybrid setup from Barcelona, shaping how privacy technology supports Rover’s mission to deliver safe, personalized experiences for pets and their families.
Compensaciones / Beneficios
• Own and maintain the privacy platform, including workflows, consent management, DSAR automation, and reporting
• Coordinate consent and marketing preferences with Marketing, Legal, and Engineering; ensure correct downstream enforcement
• Manage integrations and APIs, including authentication, error handling, and monitoring
• Handle DSARs end to end, monitor connectors, and resolve blockers
• Maintain RoPA and Data Map accuracy; onboard new data sources
• Lead new integrations from design to go-live




• Support incident response with Cybersecurity, providing platform-level triage and evidence
• Build AI-driven automation to reduce manual work while ensuring human review for compliance
• Document configurations and runbooks; mentor junior members
• Manage vendor escalations and engage external services only when needed
Responsabilidades
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience
• 2-5 years administering SaaS platforms and leading moderately complex projects
• Hands-on experience with a privacy management platform (consent management, DSAR automation, data discovery) xqbhyrx
• REST APIs, OAuth/API keys, webhooks, and integration troubleshooting
• SaaS architecture understanding (environments, change management)
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Clear communication with non-technical stakeholders
• Autonomous work style with appropriate escalation
• Hands-on experience using AI/LLM tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) for automation, documentation, or troubleshooting
