We are seeking a forward-thinking Technology Manager for Building Monitoring and Automation (BMS/BAS/ICN) to join a general client-side team within the hyperscale data centre sector. This is a high-impact, strategic role where you will define how building systems, control platforms, and operational technologies are deployed across multiple international facilities.

You'll take ownership of the global technology roadmap, evaluate emerging solutions, and define standards and reference architectures that drive interoperability, scalability, and long-term efficiency. This role is about more than system delivery, it's about shaping the future of smart, resilient, and data-driven facilities that power some of the world's largest cloud and AI workloads.

Responsibilities
- Own and develop the global BMS/BAS and monitoring technology roadmap




- Evaluate emerging technologies and translate them into real-world strategy
- Define global standards, architectures, and reference designs
- Lead vendor selection, benchmarking, and lifecycle analysis (TCO)
- Drive integration between OT systems and enterprise IT platforms
- Collaborate with IT & security teams to embed cybersecurity and resilience
- Produce executive-level strategy documents and technical guidance

Desired Experience
- Strong background in BMS/BAS, controls, or OT technologies
- Experience shaping technology strategy, standards, or architectures
- Exposure to platforms such as DCIM, CMMS, or digital twins
- Ability to operate at both technical and strategic level
- Confident communicator, able to influence senior stakeholders globally
- Background with OEMs, vendors, or product environments is highly beneficial
