- Act as the main technical focal point for converter suppliers
- Lead and coordinate engineering activities related to power converter development and integration
- Define converter concepts, architectures, and detailed technical specifications for Nordex wind turbine generators
- Develop converter subassembly designs, specifications, and validation plans
- Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers on component qualification and testing
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, manuals, instructions, and certification support documentation
- Support and oversee inspections, testing, and validation at supplier facilities and test benches
- Provide technical support for sourcing and certification activities
- Identify and validate alternative converter components
- Support wind turbine certification processes
- Perform and enhance hardware design simulations and simulation tools using Matlab-based environments

Requirements

- M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering/Power Systems or B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering/Power Systems or similar
- For foreign qualifications, recognition as the corresponding Spanish degree equivalency is required when applying
- 3+ years of experience in the wind turbine sector
- Fluent English at C1 level or above




- Experience with Matlab is a plus
