About the Role
As Whitewater Group continues to expand internationally across multiple markets, we are seeking a Commercial Controller to support the successful financial and commercial management of our projects across a range of construction and critical infrastructure environments.
This role will be responsible for overseeing project-level commercial performance, managing budgets and monthly CVRs, monitoring costs, revenue, margins, and cashflow, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Working closely with Project Managers, Operations, Procurement, Estimating, clients, suppliers, and the wider Commercial team, the successful candidate will help protect the company’s commercial position and ensure projects are delivered in line with contractual and financial requirements.
The role will also be responsible for managing client valuations and payments, identifying and negotiating variations, supporting contract administration, and managing supplier and subcontractor commercial relationships. The successful candidate will play an active role in identifying commercial risks,



managing contractual obligations, and supporting the avoidance and resolution of disputes throughout the project lifecycle.
Your profile
- Professional Experience: Preferably 5–8 years of experience in a business, legal, construction, quantity surveying, or related environment. Excellent candidates with less experience may be considered if they demonstrate strong commitment and willingness to learn.
- Education: University degree or equivalent qualification. A degree in Quantity Surveying (QS), Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Professional Achievement: Demonstrated track record of professional achievement, ownership, and delivering results.
- Financial & Commercial Skills: Strong knowledge of Excel, budgeting, cash flow management, cost control, and financial analysis.
