Experteer Overview
In this role you will design, build, and maintain ML pipelines and data science solutions for both existing and new Fortra products. You will deploy and scale ML models in production and develop scalable ML architectures in collaboration with data scientists and engineers. You will help define standards, mentor teammates, and drive ML deployment across platforms, including LLMs and generative models, with a focus on cybersecurity applications. This is a hands-on, impact-oriented position at a company that values collaboration, growth, and delivering real-world results.

• Lead complex ML engineering projects with significant autonomy
• Design, develop, test, and document software solutions for customer-facing and internal use
• Deploy, scale, and maintain ML models in production environments

Responsabilidades
• At least 7 years of engineering/data science experience, including at least 1 year in a senior role
• Strong academic background with MS or PhD as a substitute for some experience
• Thorough knowledge of software engineering and data science methodologies
• Experience in system architecture and solving engineering problems in Python, Java, or C++
• Comprehensive MLOps background in data processing, model training, and deployment as microservices
• Experience integrating applications with AWS or cloud technologies
• Proven track record deploying and benchmarking ML models in production
• Familiarity with MLflow and Kubeflow is a plus
• Solid experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, and scikit-learn is a plus
• Ability to collaborate with leads, architects, and stakeholders
• Led multiple projects to completion in small teams
• Mentorship experience for junior engineers
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• Willingness to share technical knowledge with the team
• Interest in cybersecurity applications
