Permit to Work (PTW) OfficerLocations: Castellón and Alcúdia, Mallorca, Spain Employment Type: 3 year Contract Start Date: 1 September 2027Role SummaryThe Permit to Work (PTW) Officer is responsible for coordinating and controlling all Permit to Work processes, as well as reviewing and approving Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) across assigned projects.As a key member of the Site Team, the PTW Officer will ensure that all work activities are appropriately assessed, authorised, and carried out safely in accordance with contractual, regulatory, and project requirements.The role plays an important part in mitigating risk, promoting a strong safety culture, and ensuring continuous improvement across safe systems of work.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate the review and approval of Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) for activities associated with the construction of a converter station within the energy sector.Coordinate the completion, control, and documentation of Permit to Work documentation,
including maintenance of the PTW database.Cross-reference Permit to Work documentation with relevant isolation tags.Control the return, closure, and extension of Permit to Work documentation.Maintain an up-to-date list of Authorised Applicants and Senior Authorised Persons currently on site.Conduct random checks of contractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with Permit to Work procedures.Control and securely store authorised tools and equipment used within the Permit to Work system, including locks and isolation tags.Team & Interface ManagementThe PTW Officer is responsible for the coordination and functional oversight of Permit to Work processes and RAMS management across the site, including activities undertaken by contractors.The position ensures effective alignment between site execution activities and established safety procedures by providing guidance, review, and support to site teams regarding safe systems of work.The role requires close collaborat
