In this role you support Glovo’s tax compliance across Spain, Italy, and Portugal, ensuring timely CIT, VAT, and withholding tax submissions. You join the Compliance u0026amp; Reporting Tax team at Barcelona HQ to manage tax authorities’ communications and assist with tax provisions and year-end disclosures. You will help defend the company in audits and monitor tax law changes that impact operations and new initiatives. You’ll also explore automation opportunities to streamline global tax processes, contributing to a fast-paced, results-driven culture.

• Prepare and submit CIT, VAT, and withholding tax returns across Spain, Italy and Portugal
• Manage and track communications from tax authorities
• Support tax provisions, deferred tax calculations, and year-end financial statement disclosures
• Coordinate tax audit defense by preparing workpapers and evidentiary documentation




• Monitor tax legislation changes and assess impact on operations and new product initiatives
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to optimize integral tax compliance processes

Responsabilidades
• 1–2 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience in CIT and VAT compliance, statutory reporting, and tax regulatory adherence
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel required) and/or G-Suite
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Strong problem-solving skills and proactive attitude
• Team player with ambition, curiosity, and self-motivation
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English (other languages a plus)
