Aftersales Manager Spain - Alcobendas
We are seeking an Aftersales Manager (m/f/d) to establish and lead the Aftersales function supporting the launch and growth of the Changan brand in Spain.
This role requires a hands-on and entrepreneurial approach as we build the business from the ground up.

Manager, you will play a key role in shaping Changan’s aftersales strategy and customer experience in the Spanish market. You will be responsible for building and leading a Spain-based team, collaborating with dealer partners and third-party service providers, and implementing all core aftersales activities, including parts operations, technical support, warranty management, customer service, roadside assistance, and training.
Working closely with Changan’s European and global teams, you will ensure that Changan customers and dealer partners receive a class-leading ownership experience aligned with the quality and innovation of our products.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and develop the Spanish Aftersales function, working in close collaboration with European and general stakeholders all in english.
- Recruit, lead, coach, and develop a Spain-based aftersales team, which is currently conformed by 7 senior people with good knowledge about the sector.
- Design and implement effective parts supply, logistics, technical support, warranty, and customer service programs.
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for aftersales operations, dealers, and external service providers.
- Build strong relationships with the Spanish dealer network to ensure excellent customer and dealer satisfaction.
- Oversee warranty operations and customer complaint handling in line with Changan standards and local regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement technical training programs and service standards for dealer partners and service centres.
- Ensure nationwide service coverage and customer support standards, including requirements from fleet, leasing, and corporate customers.
- Manage third-party suppliers, including logistics providers, roadside assistance partners, call centres, and technical support providers to achieve high levels of service quality and cost efficiency.
- Support the integration and growth of the accessories and value-added services business across the dealer network.
- Monitor customer satisfaction metrics and implement continuous improvement actions to enhance the ownership experience.
- Ensure compliance with Spanish automotive regulations, consumer protection requirements, and manufacturer standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Automotive Management, or a related field.
- Several years of experience, at least 10 years in the automotive industry specifically as Aftersales manager/director in OEM,
with significant experience in Aftersales Management working in international environments.
- Proven track record in establishing, developing, and leading Aftersales operations, ideally within an international or start-up environment.
- Strong understanding of automotive aftersales operations, including parts, warranty, technical services, customer care, and dealer network management.
- Demonstrated experience working closely with dealer networks to deliver outstanding customer satisfaction and operational performance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a strategic and commercially driven mindset.
- Ability to work effectively within multicultural and cross-functional international teams.
- Fluent in Spanish and English; additional European languages would be an advantage.
- Willingness to travel regularly across Spain and occasionally within Europe and internationally.
