DescriptionCash Management & Settlements Specialist | Based in BarcelonaEvery FX transaction Kantox processes has to settle correctly, on time, and without gaps. The Operations team is the function that makes that happen, and we are looking for a Cash Management & Settlements Specialist to sit at the centre of it. This is a hybrid back-office role that combines end-to-end settlements and payment processing with cash reconciliation and data analysis, ideal for someone who wants broad exposure across the full transaction lifecycle rather than a narrow slice of it.What you will work onSupervising incoming and outgoing transactions, ensuring payments are released and processed without delays for our clientsAssisting with bank enquiries and working closely with our banking partners to resolve settlement queries and payment processing issuesManaging Kantox's collateral exposure and client margin call processingPerforming daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of bank accounts and other financial records, investigating and resolving discrepancies so all transactions are accurately recordedSupporting audits by providing detailed reconciliation reports and documentation, and ensuring transactions comply with company policies and financial regulationsCollaborating with Finance on the reporting of funds and with our Technology team on automation initiatives and process improvementsWorking closely with team members on payment reconciliation issues and ensuring operational continuityMaintaining organised records and compiling data to assist with ad-hoc reporting requestsThe setupYou will be based in our Barcelona office, working within the Operations team at the centre of daily FX trading and payment operations. You will interact regularly with Client Transaction Services, Cash Management and Settlements, Customer Success, Finance, Compliance and Risk, and Technology.



This is a role with real cross-functional exposure and direct impact on how clients experience Kantox day-to-day.Who you areYou have a solid academic background in finance or a related field and a genuine interest in financial markets, foreign exchange, and banking systems.
