Role Description
The Compliance Manager is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing and maintaining DRUO’s regulatory compliance framework. This role includes monitoring relevant laws and regulations, developing and updating internal policies, and ensuring that business processes meet compliance requirements in all operating jurisdictions. The Compliance Manager will conduct risk assessments, perform internal compliance audits, and lead the overall evolution of assigned compliance initiatives.
The role also contemplates training team members on compliance standards, manage relationships with regulators/auditors, and prepare documentation and reports for internal and external stakeholders. The position also involves staying current with industry trends and advising leadership on emerging compliance risks and best practices.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of financial services or fintech regulations, including payments, data protection, and anti-money laundering.
Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining compliance programs, policies, and procedures.
Demonstrated ability to conduct risk assessments, internal audits, and compliance investigations.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with attention to detail.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex regulatory topics to non-specialists.
