Main Responsibilities

•Supervise day-to-day accounting activities including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger.

•Ensure timely month-end and year-end close processes. Prepare monthly fin package with full analysis of the results.

•Manage cash flow planning and working capital.

•Implement and maintain strong internal controls.

•Implementing the company's ERP system Holded.

•Prepare yearly budget with coordination of all relevant departments.

•Lead end-to-end statutory audits with external audit firms.

•Own Spanish-specific tax compliance: Corporate Income Tax, VAT, withholding taxes, among others.

•Operate across a multi-entity environment comprising 15+ Spanish group companies.

•Supervise a 4-person accounting team.

Required Skills and Experience

•Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field in SPAIN ; CPA required.

•5–10+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.





•Experience with financial reporting standards,audits , internal controls ,and compliance requirements.

•Experience with ERP systems and financial automation tools. ERP Experience - advantage

•Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

•Advanced Excel skills, including formula-driven financial modeling - advantage

•Experience in the hospitality/real estate sector and with related PMS and payment platforms - advantage

•Proven experience managing external auditors through a full statutory audit cycle - advantage.

Languages

•Fluent Spanish and excellent command of the English language is a must.
