Experteer Overview
As an Automation Engineer, you ensure automated systems run reliably to keep orders flowing on time. You analyze data from control systems and sensors to maximise equipment availability across sites. You will tackle complex productivity challenges at the forefront of Amazon’s automation tech, leading improvements and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Your work supports installation, commissioning and ongoing optimization of conveyors, sortation and other MHE. This role blends hands-on troubleshooting with strategic enhancements to boost uptime and performance.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Monitor, troubleshoot and repair issues with key systems
• Collaborate with the EU Controls network to monitor MHE metrics
• Create data visualisations of troubleshooting for internal stakeholders
• Own or participate in continuous improvement projects run by the EU Controls network
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure correct documentation and backups




• Support site equipment installations and commissioning with global colleagues
• Assist across sites in the EU Controls network as needed
• Interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and develop improvement strategies compliant with IEC 61131-3

Responsabilidades
• Experience with PLC-controlled automation in a continuous process or production environment
• Experience supporting conveyors and sortation systems
• Experience visualising material handling, flow and capacity metrics
• Proficiency with at least one: Microsoft Office, project management tools, EPLAN
• Ladder Logic and structure programming for Siemens, Allen-Brady or Codesys PLCs
• Ignition SCADA or similar HMI platform
• EthernetIP, Profinet, Profibus and AS-i or other fieldbus networks
• VFDs, safety gateways and I/O devices
• Strong English and Spanish communication skills
