WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Transfer Pricing Strategy : Support the development and implementation of transfer pricing strategies that align with the company's financial objectives and general operations.
- Compliance Management : Support the compliance with local and international transfer pricing regulations and guidelines. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations that may impact transfer pricing.
- Intercompany Transactions : Analyze and oversee intercompany transactions to determine appropriate transfer prices. Document and support transfer pricing methodologies.
- Risk Assessment : Identify potential transfer pricing risks and work to mitigate them through comprehensive planning and documentation.
- Documentation and Reporting : Prepare and maintain detailed transfer pricing documentation to support pricing decisions. Produce accurate and timely transfer pricing reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and tax, to ensure alignment on transfer pricing strategies and compliance.
- Audit Support : Assist in transfer pricing audits and inquiries by tax authorities.
Provide necessary documentation and support to defend the company's transfer pricing practices.
- Regional and International Projects‘ Tax support and coordination: Support regional and international projects (such as Pillar II, EU Public CbCR, among others) including, but not limited to:
1. Work in close relationship with EU tax teams as well as with HQ (Japan) tax team.
2. Monitor any new international tax legislation/update affecting the compliance of the European countries in scope.
3. Support the delineation of the needed processes to ensure the tax compliance of the EU countries in scope.
- Pillar II Specifics: Manage the coordination between the different Group departments and the external consultants to ensure the correct and on time submission of Pillar II returns/forms for all the EU countries in scope.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA/CA qualification is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in transfer pricing, international taxation, or related areas. Experience in a multinational corporation or consulting firm is advantageous.
- Tax Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of international transfer pricing regulations and tax laws. Familiarity with OECD guidelines is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in financial analysis and modeling.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex tax concepts to various stakeholders.
- Detail-Oriented: Meticulous attention to detail is crucial for maintaining accurate tax documentation.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment and adapt to changing business needs.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to evolving tax regulations and business requirements
- Ethical Conduct: Uphold the highest ethical standards and integrity in all transfer pricing activities
- English Language skills essential
