Procurement Manager - Iberia (Direct Materials)Locations: BarcelonaSalary: €85,000 to €95,000 + Benefits The RoleWe are recruiting a Procurement Manager - Iberia to lead direct material procurement activities across manufacturing operations in the region.This is a senior, high-impact role within a global manufacturing group. You will be responsible for managing direct and some indirect procurement spend across Iberia, driving cost optimisation, supplier performance, and supply continuity while aligning closely with integral commodity strategies.Operating within a matrix structure, you will act as the key regional link between global category teams and local operations, ensuring procurement strategies are effectively executed at site level.The specific commodity background is not critical. What matters is strong experience in direct materials procurement within manufacturing, commercial strength, and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead direct material procurement activities across Iberian manufacturing sites

Execute global commodity strategies at regional level while providing local market insight

Manage end-to-end sourcing activities including RFx, negotiation, contracting, and supplier performance management

Own relationships with key regional suppliers and ensure quality, cost competitiveness, and supply continuity





Drive cost reduction and value improvement initiatives using TCO and benchmarking approaches

Partner closely with engineering, operations, quality, and supply chain teams

Support demand planning, new product introduction, and product lifecycle changes

Identify and implement supplier consolidation, dual-sourcing, and risk mitigation initiatives

Monitor supplier KPIs and lead corrective action plans where required

Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and procurement planning for the region

Ensure compliance with sustainability and ethical sourcing standards

About You8-12+ years procurement experience, with strong exposure to direct materials in manufacturing

Experience operating in a regional or site leadership procurement role

Proven ability to manage complex suppliers and commercial negotiations

Comfortable working in a multinational, matrix organisation

Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills

Analytical, structured, and delivery-focused
