Your Role and Responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to successful project results in technology, software, product, and/or solution development, as well as associated Intellectual Property (IP). Demonstrates solid competence in technologies, tools, and methods in their own area of specialization by solving complex industrial problems, working independently, and with an ability to guide and mentor junior team members. Gains acknowledgment as an expert in their field by other members of the R&D;/Product Engineering organization.
Demonstrates a solid understanding of the key drivers for ABB, as well as state-of-the-art technologies, tools, and methods in their own business/technology area as well as associated ABB products and offerings. Documenting work results (like findings, designs, or software), allowing others to maintain and improve them. Understanding and initiating IP generation in your area of specialization and participating in the project IP strategy development.
Degree in Mechanical Engineering You enjoy working with CAD design and conceptual solutions Possess enhanced knowledge of SolidWorks, Inventor, PLM, ERP, ALM (Polarion) You have hands‑on experience in prototyping and validation of mechanical components,
