Senior Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist Are you an experienced geotechnical engineer or geologist? Ramboll is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist to join its collaborative team in Spain. This individual will serve a key function providing the review of technical reports, specifications, plans, designing foundations, retaining walls, and other geotechnical aspects of construction.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to partner cross‑functionally on premier land development projects. Preparing and checking engineering designs, technical documents, and calculations, and supervising the production of design documents for issue to the Client Organising and coordinating projects from site investigation and design feasibility to detailed design, including site supervision where required Developing project controls and monitoring progress against programmes Ensuring that designs,



assessments and checking of designs are in accordance with current design standards, codes of practice, and best practice Coordinating the work undertaken by external sub-contractors and design checkers Project administration reporting to line management, including monitoring programme delivery, resources, and budgets Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering or Engineering Geology required, Master’s degree strongly preferred ~5+ years of related geotechnical experience in investigations and construction inspections ~ A working knowledge of a range of geotechnical software, including Geo Studio suite (Slope/W, Seep/W) or similar ~ Significant experience in the civil engineering sector ~ Excellent English written and verbal communication skills ~ Fluency in English and Spanish Inspiration from colleagues, clients, and projects
