THE ROLE
We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to join our central engineering team. This team designs SCADA and digitalization solutions, writes engineering standards, supports the commercial team on new opportunities, and helps the project teams with difficult technical problems.
Your main work is design and development, and you are a Builder.



You will build Ignition applications, connect them to plant systems and to higher-level systems, and create the standards and reusable components that our project teams use. This is an office-based engineering role.
Ignition is one of our core platforms and we work with it every day. You will be a Lead Ignition Specialist, and the person other engineers come to for help with the platform. You will also work with the other systems we use — AVEVA System Platform, Wonderware InTouch, iFIX, Siemens WinCC, PCS 7, and more.
You will also help the commercial team win new projects: designing the technical solution and architecture, preparing the estimate, and building demonstrations for clients.
Most of our clients work in regulated industries, so well-documented engineering is key.
