The Customer Service Specialist (Road Freight) manages international road freight shipments across EU and non-EU countries, coordinates transport and customs processes, ensures documentation accuracy, and monitors shipments to guarantee efficient and timely delivery.
Essential Job Functions:
Coordinate international road freight shipments across Europe and non-EU countries, from pickup to final delivery.
Manage the complete transport process, including collection, operational coordination, shipment tracking, customs coordination, and last-mile delivery.
Prepare, review, and manage all transport and customs documentation required for import and export road freight operations.
Coordinate customs clearance processes with customs brokers, customers, carriers,



and internal teams to ensure compliance with international trade regulations.
Monitor shipments proactively to ensure on-time deliveries and resolve operational incidents efficiently.
Maintain constant communication with customers, carriers, customs brokers, and internal teams regarding shipment status, documentation, and operational updates.
Handle customer billing and validate supplier invoices accurately.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing excellent customer service and timely responses.
Collaborate with other company branches and partners across Europe and internationally to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
Position may require extended periods of sitting, computer use, standing, and walking. Some light lifting may be required in certain situations.
