LHH is partnering with Novartis to appoint a Head of Value & Pricing Spain. This is a unique opportunity to lead pricing, value, and contracting strategies across a portfolio of innovative medicines, driving decisions that directly influence patient access, reimbursement outcomes, and long-term business success.
Based in Spain (Madrid or Barcelona), this strategic leadership role will lead the development and execution of pricing and value strategies across the product lifecycle, from launch planning through to lifecycle management, ensuring optimal market access while supporting healthcare system sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead integrated pricing, value and contracting strategies across new launches and in-market assets.
- Shape value propositions, pricing, reimbursement and access plans for innovative therapies.
- Provide strategic pricing and value input into launch planning, market positioning and lifecycle management decisions.
- Collaborate closely with Market Access, Medical Affairs, HEOR, Commercial,
Finance and other cross-functional stakeholders.
- Engage with payers, healthcare authorities, reimbursement bodies and key institutional stakeholders.
- Lead the development of innovative contracting solutions, including value-based and risk-sharing agreements.
- Lead and develop high-performing teams within a complex matrix environment.
Candidate Profile:
- Degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Health Economics, Life Sciences or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Fluent English.
- Extensive experience in Pricing, Market Access, HEOR, Health Economics or related functions within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven track record in developing pricing and value strategies for innovative medicines.
- Strong leadership experience, including team management and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience interacting with payers, healthcare authorities and institutional decision-makers.
