? About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join the ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) team within a public-sector environment.

You will work on the stabilization and modernization of ANPR systems, translating business and operational needs into clear requirements, processes and solutions.

You will collaborate closely with police stakeholders, IT architects, project managers, data experts, software engineers, end users and external technology suppliers.

? Key Responsibilities

- Analyse business and operational requirements within the Traffic / ANPR domain.
- Translate stakeholder needs into clear and structured functional requirements.
- Map and improve AS-IS and TO-BE business processes.
- Identify tasks, dependencies, risks and potential bottlenecks.
- Monitor initiatives and report progress, issues, risks and proposed mitigations.
- Maintain decision logs, action lists and project documentation.
- Establish and maintain quality management plans.
- Coordinate and communicate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Support the long-term vision and modernization of the ANPR ecosystem.
- Consider future capacity, new technologies and integration with other systems.
- Keep up to date with ANPR technology,



privacy legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Support DPIAs, risk assessments and other compliance-related analyses.
- Document knowledge in a structured manner to ensure knowledge transfer and continuity.

? Required Experience & Skills

✅ 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis and/or ICT Project Management

✅ Experience working in complex IT environments

✅ Experience within the public sector / government environment

✅ Strong experience in requirements management

✅ Strong knowledge of business process mapping

✅ Experience with stakeholder management

✅ Experience in risk and quality management

✅ Strong reporting and documentation skills

✅ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

✅ Ability to manage multiple topics and changing priorities

✅ Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio and/or Power BI is a plus

? Nice to Have

⭐ Experience with ANPR systems

⭐ Knowledge of camera technology / traffic surveillance

⭐ Understanding of the traffic detection and investigation chain

⭐ Experience with privacy, DPIA and regulatory compliance
