We are a language school in Barcelona - we teach English, Spanish, French, Italian and Catalan. We are professional, adaptable, friendly and all our teachers are qualified language experts. We work with a wide range of students: children, teenagers, university students, adults, as well as local schools and businesses, helping them to perfect their language skills according to their objectives.

We are looking for a strong, competent and team-oriented English teacher to take on a large percentage of evening classes due to growing demand. The number of hours will start at 5-10/week in September but may increase.

The successful candidate will be someone who is eager to bring their knowledge and passion for education to the table and participate in the day-to-day running and cohesion of the school. Their main responsibilities will lie in preparing and imparting excellent English lessons and generally participating in providing a quality service to all our students.

Tasks / job details:

* Teach English classes to a variety of levels and ages.

* Prepare classes according to the My Cup of Tea Curriculum.

* Evaluate students' progress according to the school's internal processes.

* Prepare termly evaluations.

* Report to the Academic Director.





* Work together as a team to build the My Cup of Tea community.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree or Master's in Teaching English, English Language / Literature / Translation or equivalent, or CELTA/DELTA qualification.

* Minimum 5 years of teaching experience.

* Native level of English.

* Advanced level of Spanish (preferable but not essential).

* Computer skills at user level.

* Possibility of immediate incorporation.

* Residence in Barcelona or surroundings.

* Flexibility with hours - it will be around 5-10 per week at first and is expected to gradually increase.

* To be passionate about education.
