We are working with a large international business expanding its IT Operations function. This is a strong opportunity for a junior engineer to build hands-on experience supporting highly available NoSQL databases within a modern, integral technology environment. The role: * Support the full lifecycle of NoSQL databases, from deployment and configuration through to monitoring, optimisation and upgrades * Help maintain reliable, scalable database clusters across containerised and traditional environments * Build monitoring, alerting and automation to improve database performance and reduce manual work * Assist with incident response, capacity planning, documentation and disaster-recovery readiness * Collaborate with SRE, platform engineering and application teams on database-related projects What we’re looking for: * 2+ years’ experience in IT Operations, SRE,



database administration or infrastructure engineering * Hands-on exposure to at least one NoSQL technology, such as MongoDB, Cassandra or Elasticsearch * Good Linux administration and scripting skills, ideally Python and/or Shell * Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, Puppet or similar automation tools * Exposure to Docker and/or Kubernetes * Understanding of monitoring, troubleshooting and performance optimisation in distributed systems * Strong problem-solving skills, clear communication and a willingness to learn * Cloud certifications or knowledge of SQL databases would be beneficial Whats on offer: * Competitive salary * Hybrid working model (2 days in office Madrid or Malaga) * Paid certifications * Health insurance (whole family) * Gym membership * And much more
