Job Purpose

The Safety & Compliance Manager AOC is responsible for supporting the effectiveness and continuous improvement of the Company’s Safety Management System (SMS), Compliance Monitoring Function, and Change Management processes, ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and promoting the highest standards of safety and operational excellence. The position acts as deputy to the Safety Manager and supports the Compliance Monitoring Function through safety oversight, risk management, occurrence investigations, Flight Data Monitoring (FDM), compliance audits, regulatory liaison, and change management activities.



The role requires close collaboration with Nominated Persons, operational departments, regulatory authorities, and external stakeholders to ensure the organization maintains the highest levels of safety performance and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Safety Management
- Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Company’s Safety Management System (SMS).
- Act as deputy to the Safety Manager when required.
- Lead hazard identification, safety risk assessments, occurrence management, and safety investigations.
- Monitor safety performance through the analysis of safety data, trends, and Safety Performance Indicators (SPIs).
- Coordinate and oversee the Flight Data Monitoring (FDM) Programme, ensuring compliance with regulatory and confidentiality requirements.
- Promote a proactive safety culture through training, communication, and safety promotion initiatives.
