Madrid (Hybrid – 50% Remote) Were looking for a Backend Software Engineer to join an international team developing mission-critical software solutions for industrial automation. ? What youll do * Design, develop and maintain high-quality backend applications based on Java microservices. * Build scalable, event-driven architectures using technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ or ActiveMQ. * Work with PostgreSQL and Oracle databases. * Ensure code quality through automated testing and agile development practices. * Collaborate with multicultural teams throughout the software development lifecycle. ✅ What were looking for * Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field. * Strong experience with Java (JDK 8+/17).



* Hands-on experience with microservices and distributed architectures. * Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ or ActiveMQ. * Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Oracle, Docker and Linux. * Experience with automated testing and Scrum methodologies. * Fluent English. ⭐ Nice to have * OpenShift, AWS or Azure. * Reactive or functional programming. * JDK 17 experience. ?
