We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join our team in Milagro and take overall responsibility for the day-to-day operational performance of our site. This is a key leadership role, working closely with colleagues across Operations, Transport, Engineering, HR, Finance, Customer Service and QHSSE to deliver safe, efficient and customer-focused operations.
What you’ll be doing
As an Deputy Operations Manager, you will:
Lead and oversee the site's operational teams, ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality warehouse operations.
Take ownership of operational performance, ensuring customer requirements, production targets and KPIs are consistently achieved.
Champion a strong health, safety, quality and compliance culture, ensuring relevant standards, policies and procedures are followed.
Lead audit readiness and support internal, external,



customer and regulatory audits, ensuring corrective actions are completed effectively.
Build strong relationships with customers, internal teams and external partners, understanding their requirements and ensuring these are delivered.
Support new customer onboarding and help identify opportunities to improve service and grow the business.
Manage labour planning and productivity, balancing permanent employees, agency resource and overtime to meet operational and budget requirements.
Monitor operational costs, including equipment, repairs, damages and customer charges, identifying opportunities for greater efficiency.
Lead, develop and engage the operational team through clear objectives, regular performance conversations, coaching and development.
Support recruitment, performance management, absence management and other people-related processes.
