As a Manager / Senior Data u0026amp; AI Architect in Barcelona, you will bridge strategy, business, and technology for Life Sciences. You’ll lead end-to-end data and AI architecture design, guide delivery, and shape reusable capabilities. You’ll engage in pre-sales, articulate complex decisions to executives, and mentor teams to scale solutions. This role combines hands-on technical depth with client-facing and commercial responsibilities to grow our Life Sciences practice. You’ll join a global Data u0026amp; AI team while collaborating locally across Iberia and with broader BIP geographies.

• Design end-to-end Data, Analytics and AI architectures (data lake/lakehouse, integration, governance, ML/GenAI, AI agents).
• Translate Life Sciences business needs into scalable, secure technology solutions.




• Act as trusted technical advisor to CIOs/CDOs and architecture teams; lead pre-sales activities and client workshops.
• Collaborate with commercial leaders to identify and mature opportunities; contribute to proposals and roadmaps.
• Provide technical leadership to multidisciplinary teams (data engineers, data scientists, ML engineers, AI specialists).
• Define architecture standards across security, observability, MLOps/LLMOps, governance and data quality.
• Ensure production operability, performance, security, cost control and long-term scalability.
• Mentor junior colleagues and promote best practices through design reviews and knowledge sharing.

Responsabilidades
• 7+ years of experience in data/analytics/cloud/AI with architecture or technical lead responsibilities.
• Proven Life Sciences domain knowledge and understanding of regulatory context.
• Experience designing modern data solutions (lake/lakehouse, warehouse, streaming, APIs, governance).
