Purpose of Role
To be a dynamic and inspirational teacher of MFL Spanish and Catalan with in-depth knowledge anda real passion for this subject. Effective planning and the delivery of creative and dynamic lessonsfrom Key Stage 3 through to Sixth Form is paramount to promoting the application of your subjectknowledge through a wide range of engaging, practical activities. You should have experienceofteaching the exam syllabus for your subject at both GCSE and IB or equivalent and will strive tomaintain the high standards already set in this subject, promoting inquisitive, reflective andindependent learning and supporting all students to reach their own individual goals. You shouldbe a strong team player with a practical and versátil approach to problem solving, who is alsokeen to play a leading role in the continuing development and improvement of your subject andthe implementation of a range of new learning initiativesacross the school.
