Youll play a key role in strengthening confidence in our automated underwriting engine by leading a robust post-issue audit programme, helping us better understand application disclosures and continuously improve outcomes. Alongside this, youll contribute to new business underwriting quality audits and support retrospective claim assessments, giving you broad exposure across underwriting and making a meaningful impact on how we evolve and enhance our approach. You will be a life underwriting expert who lives and breaths life insurance.
Key Actions
- Ensure a robust post-issue underwriting non-disclosure QA programme is in place, working with Operational colleagues; ensure post-issue communications are sound and evidence collation is appropriate.
- Review monthly random and targeted samples of automated underwriting system decisions, completing findings on the post-issue audit log and issuing a monthly summary report.
- Ascertain the non-disclosure rate of policies across each distributi
