We are looking for a Frud Analyst to be based in our headquarters in Barcelona.

Job duties and Responsibilities:
- Review and remediate transaction monitoring alerts.
- Analyse user documentation to verify consistency with their transactional behaviour.
- Manage chargebacks and other payment disputes,



gathering supporting evidence and processing written correspondence to recover funds for PayRetailers’ Merchants.
- Monitor fraud rates and take necessary actions to keep them within acceptable thresholds.
- Proactively suggest system improvements to prevent fraudulent transactions and optimize existing fraud management processes.
- Analyze fraud patterns and develop new fraud detection rules.
- Provide support and advice to other internal departments on fraud related matters.
- Conduct fraud investigations upon Merchant request.
- Support junior analysts with the creation of SQL queries.
- Create fraud data reports ad-hoc.
- Experience and Qualifications:
- 2 years experience in the financial service industry (having knowledge of payment systems and AML procedures is an asset).
- Proficiency in English and Spanish are a must (at least B2 level).
- Proficient with SQL and experience exploring databases.
