Responsibilities
- Product Growth Strategy
Design and execute a comprehensive business development strategy for promoting and scaling software products in the insurance domain across the UK and Europe. Define target customer segments, value propositions, and go-to-market approaches.
- Market & Customer Research
Analyze market trends, competitors, and regulatory environments within the insurance sector. Identify customer pain points and translate them into clear product positioning and sales opportunities.
- Client Engagement & Travel
Represent the company at insurance-focused industry events, conferences, and partner meetings across the UK and Europe. Conduct on-site and remote meetings to nurture relationships with prospects, clients, and strategic partners.
- Commercial Proposals & Pricing
Prepare and present compelling commercial proposals, including licensing,
subscription, or usage-based pricing models. Collaborate with internal teams to tailor product offerings to client needs while maintaining scalability.
- Client Engagement & Travel
Represent the company at insurance-focused industry events, conferences, and partner meetings across the UK and Europe. Conduct on-site and remote meetings to nurture relationships with prospects, clients, and strategic partners.
- Cross-functional Collaboration
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in business development or enterprise sales within the financial services sector, working with banks, insurance companies, and other financial institutions.
- Proven experience selling software products, SaaS, or platform solutions in B2B environments.
- Demonstrable experience in selling software development or integration services under a T&M; engagement model.
