Our Process Engineer will support ongoing operations at the Porriño site, providing technical assistance related to manufacturing, utilities, and process systems. The role offers the opportunity to develop hands-on experience in a biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment while working closely with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams.
The focus of the role is to develop technical knowledge of manufacturing equipment and processes, support day-to-day operations, and contribute to engineering and improvement projects that help ensure safe, compliant, efficient, and reliable manufacturing.
What you’ll do:
Develop technical knowledge of manufacturing equipment, utilities, and processes, with support from experienced engineers and subject matter experts.
Support the identification and evaluation of opportunities to improve manufacturing processes in terms of safety, quality, cost, time, and yield.
Participate in the design, implementation, commissioning, and qualification of engineering projects at the site.
Process Engineering Lead in medium complexity projects coordinating and supporting team members (Junior Process Engineer, contractors)
Support the installation qualification (IQ) activities for new and modified equipment and systems.
Collaborate with other areas and departments of Porriño, including Production, MSAT, Quality, and Program Management, to help resolve quality and production issues.
Provide technical support for process equipment and systems and contribute to troubleshooting activities.
