The Supplier Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing supplier relationships with their assigned supplier portfolio to ensure quality, cost efficiency, strategy execution and risk mitigation.

The position acts as a liaison between the suppliers they manage and the Category Management, Business Unit and Global functions as required.



Uses structured processes and scorecards to monitor performance, drive improvements, coordinate strategic development, and align supplier contributions with strategic goals.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY

Using a combination of the defined Supplier Plans provided by the Category Management team, structured processes and scorecards available as well as inputs and escalations received from various internal stakeholders, the Supplier Manager is accountable for

Supplier Strategy Planning & Execution
- Development of the Supplier Plan in collaboration with the Category Management & BU teams ensuring direct support of the category strategy and business strategic projects
- Monitor spend and performance in line with category segmentation and make recommendations for changes to Strategic & Tactical segmentation as necessary
- Ensure compliance across all contractual agreements and supplier specific terms in alignment with Flowserve policies and procedures
