ICFO is offering a postdoctoral position to a well-qualified and highly motivated scientist, to work in the field of theoretical many-body quantum optics.

Applicants must hold a PhD degree (or have submitted their thesis by the starting date) in heoretical physics or closely related fields
- Strong, demonstrated expertise in theoretical quantum many-body physics, particularly on the fractional Quantum Hall effect
- Good familiarity with quantum optics and open quantum systems, especially in the context of cavity QED
- Demonstrated capability to lead and design their own research projects

Salaries for ICFO Postdoctoral positions are assigned by the Selection Committee, based on experience and seniority of the applicant,



as well as the assigned tasks and responsibilities within the group. Standard salaries range from a lower level aligned with national Ramon-y-Cajal fellowships to higher levels aligned with Marie Skłodowska-Curie individual fellowships.

The contract is offered for period of 1 year.
