Working Pattern: AWE operates a 9-day working fortnight, with every other Friday as a non-working day . This role is operational and customer facing, so employees are required to work fully onsite. We support adaptable working arrangements where possible, including part-time and varied working hours, while maintaining an onsite presence. AWE is currently recruiting for a Facility Management Specialist to support the delivery of safe, compliant and effective facilities management services across a diverse operational estate.
The successful candidate will provide specialist advice to Facility Managers, coordinate service delivery,
engage with stakeholders and help ensure that facilities remain safe, available and fit for purpose. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, building relationships and making a tangible difference to operational performance.
As Facility Management Specialist, you will:
- Support the delivery of facilities management services across a portfolio of operational facilities.
- Act as a key point of contact for facility users, helping to resolve issues and improve customer experience.
- Monitor compliance activities and support the management of facility risks and control measures.
- Coordinate maintenance, statutory inspections and service provider activities.
- Assist in ensuring facilities are maintained to appropriate safety, security and environmental standards.
