Tenure-track position at Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona)

We invite applications for faculty appointments at the level of tenure-track Assistant Professor in the area of Statistics at the Department of Economics and Business to begin no later than Sep 2021.
Applicants should hold a Ph.D. (or be near completion of their doctoral studies), and should have a demonstrated potential for research excellence in Statistics, Probability or related fields. Applicants should provide a curriculum vitae, submit a copy of their most recent work and provide three letters of recommendation.
Deadline for application is March 1, 2021.
A successful candidate will become part of an active Statistics group in the diverse Department of Economics and Business at Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, which is consistently ranked among the top European economics schools. The Data Science Center and the Master’s Program in Data Science provide additional opportunities to get involved in Statistics-related activities. Knowledge of Catalan or Spanish is not a requirement.
