Who are we looking for?

We are actively looking for a software engineer or similar to support the activities at the Portugal office in Lisbon.

At FOSSA we develop, manufacture and validate multitude of software applications. From tools to test or provision hardware to operational tools for control of satellite constellations, among others.

You will participate in the different stages of the development cycle for IoT solutions, with a special focus on the user segment,



ensuring efficient and scalable IoT applications that enhance connectivity and usability.

Responsibilities
- Design and develop efficient, scalable, and user-friendly end-to-end solutions for both front-end and back-end systems.
- Develop web applications using JavaScript, React, and other relevant technologies.
- Design, implement, and maintain REST APIs.
- Program Python scripts for various tasks and functionalities.

Profile
- Software engineer, computer engineer or similar.
- Demonstrable experience or personal projects.
- Knowledge in programming languages such as JavaScript and Python.
- Solid understanding of REST API design and implementation.
- Knowledge of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks like React.
- Experience with MongoDB and influxDB.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environme
