In ARQUIMEA SPACE develops spaceflight parts and equipment for satellites and launchers. We specialize in thermal control systems, structural panels, optical payloads, avionics, release and deployment mechanisms, and rad-hard microelectronics. Together with our tech partners we provide high-throughput smallsats and their subsystems. Our brand-new factory in Madrid is suited to integrate satellites and constellations.





We are looking for a Telecommunications Network Engineerwith the mission of acting as the key expert in space-based telecommunication networks within the company, leading the definition and implementation of satellite network solutions across various projects, including a satellite constellation.

Tasks to be performed:
- Satellite Network Design & Implementation: Develop and configure satellite communication networks (architecture, topology and definition) and management (control).
- Sizing of telecommunication channels for a whole network.
- Telecommunications Network protocols expert. Understanding of satellite communication protocols (DVB-S2, DVB-RCS, TDMA, SCPC,…).
- Link Budget Analysis & Optimization: Perform link budget calculations to optimize signal quality, bandwidth efficiency, and power allocation
- Ground Station equipment: Knowledge in satellite ground station equipment, including modems, antennas, RF systems, and baseba
