Accountabilities
Review, translate, localize, fact-check, and adapt sports-related content, with a primary focus on football,



from US English into German.
Perform quality control on audiovisual and multimedia content while maintaining accuracy, consistency, tone, and adherence to applicable style guides.
Research German-market content, terminology, product trends, and localization practices to ensure content resonates with the target audience.
Provide constructive feedback on localized and written content to improve linguistic quality and audience relevance.
Adapt language and editorial style to different audiences, including football fans, younger audiences, and contemporary pop-culture communities.
Manage an expected weekly weighted volume of approximately 2,000–5,000 words while maintaining high standards of accuracy and consistency.
Apply strong proofreading and editing judgment to identify grammatical, stylistic, cultural, and factual issues.
Work independently in a remote environment and manage assigned work
