We're looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Specialist – Qualys / Vulnerability Management Madrid – Hybrid model At Capitole, we're supporting a general company in the insurance sector with the evolution and day-to-day operation of a critical Vulnerability Management platform. We're looking for a Cybersecurity professional with strong hands-on experience in Qualys . What's the challenge?
You'll be responsible for the configuration, deployment monitoring and ongoing maintenance of the Qualys platform , helping ensure that vulnerability detection and management processes remain reliable across a large enterprise environment. The role combines platform administration, troubleshooting, scripting, technical documentation and cybersecurity delivery rather than focusing only on vulnerability analysis.
You'll be working on: Configuring Qualys agents, appliances, scans, reports and platform settings . Monitoring deployments, including authentication and scan validation. Automating troubleshooting activities through scripting . Producing deployment, architecture and monitoring documentation.
Maintaining the quality and continuity of the Vulnerability Management service. What are we looking for?
Strong hands-on experience with Qualys platform administration and configuration . Solid experience in Vulnerability Management . Experience deploying cybersecurity solutions in banking or insurance environments . Experience with technical troubleshooting and scripting/automation . Ability to create deployment and architecture documentation. Familiarity with Agile delivery practices, including user stories and Definition of Done.
Nice to have:
Experience with large enterprise security platforms. Experience working with Product Owners and Cybersecurity SMEs. Qualys certifications or experience with additional Qualys modules.
