CFO Position – Spanish Real Estate Development and Investment Company Company Description Oleares (formerly DSRA) is a growing Spanish real estate development and investment company focused on high-quality residential projects — build-to-sell, build-to-rent, affordable housing, and student housing — along the Mediterranean coast (Sitges, Barcelona, Valencia Region). As the company grows, Oleares will expand its operations across Spain with projects expected in additional regions.

The company invests and operates under high standards as a private-equity–style portfolio company and is held by strong professional investors. Role Mission The CFO will lead the development of the company's full financial infrastructure — including financial strategy, governance, reporting systems, project-level financial visibility, and institutional-grade controls — to support Oleares' growth across multiple developments and geographies in Spain.
The role requires building scalable processes, ensuring financial discipline, and acting as a strategic partner to the CEO and investors. Role Description
- Work closely with the CEO on developing the company's business, portfolio, and pipeline in a private-equity operating mode.
- Lead all taxation, reporting, and compliance aspects of the company, ensuring institutional governance across all SPVs and entities.
- Develop detailed financial models at both the project (construction + sales) and corporate levels.
- Manage project budgets, capex,
cash-flow forecasts, and financial performance across active developments.
- Lead financing processes with banks and financial institutions (Santander, BBVA, etc.), including senior loans, equity structuring, and payment schedules.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages for management, investors, and the board.
- Oversee annual audits, statutory filings, corporate governance processes, and internal financial controls.
- Work closely with external accounting, legal, and tax advisors throughout the acquisition → construction → sales cycle.
- Build internal dashboards, project monitoring tools, and financial control systems adapted to real estate development.
- Lead the development and implementation of IT and AI-driven systems to improve financial efficiency, monitoring, and decision-making.
- Travel regularly across Spain to visit projects, partners, advisors, and financial institutions (Sitges, Barcelona, Valencia, and other regions as required).
Qualifications
- Certified accountant with Big 4 and IFRS experience.
- BA required; MBA preferred.
- 7+ years of financial management experience in real estate development, construction finance, or project-based P&L; environments.
- Proven experience in financing development projects (construction financing, debt + equity structuring, bank drawdowns) — mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of Spanish accounting, taxation, and regulatory requirements.
- Spanish mother tongue — mandatory.
