About The Role
Lead Engineer in Digital Office, responsible for accelerating transformation by designing and building front‐end and back‐end applications, mentoring engineers, shaping best practices, and contributing to a programmable, automated digital platform.
Key Responsibilities
Full‐Stack Application Development
- Lead design and maintenance of scalable front‐end applications (React, Vue, Angular) and back‐end services (Node.js, Python, or similar). Create reference implementations and documentation.
- Develop reusable UI components, design systems, shared libraries, and internal service frameworks.
- Build and integrate APIs (REST, GraphQL, event‐driven, microservices).

Performance, Quality & Reliability
- Ensure applications meet highest standards of performance, security, accessibility, and reliability.
- Lead automated testing across unit, integration, contract, and end‐to‐end layers.
- Implement observability,



including logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting.
- Champion reliability engineering practices and performance optimization.

Automation & Platform Engineering
- Contribute to and evolve CI/CD pipelines, build tooling, infrastructure automation, and quality gates.
- Drive engineering standardization across STOs (coding guidelines, architectural patterns, platform abstractions).
- Lead initiatives that reduce friction, improve developer experience, and accelerate delivery cycles.

Technical Leadership & Innovation
- Partner with designers, architects, product managers to align technical direction with platform goals.
- Collaborate with designers and Product Manager to evaluate technical feasibility of new capabilities and estimate effort.
- Foster high‐ownership culture through active mentorship and code quality standards.
