From LHH we are helping our client, a leading integral pharmaceutical company, who is looking for a Head of Value & Pricing Spain to lead the development and execution of pricing, value and contracting strategies across a diverse portfolio of innovative medicines.
This is a leadership role, responsible for driving value-based pricing decisions, engaging with key healthcare stakeholders and ensuring optimal market access throughout the product lifecycle. The position plays a critical role in maximizing patient access while supporting the sustainability of the healthcare system.
Key Responsibilities
Pricing & Value Strategy
Define and implement pricing and value strategies for new launches and in-market products.
Lead preparation for pricing and reimbursement negotiations, integrating clinical, economic and value evidence.
Assess the impact of pricing decisions on market access,



commercial performance and healthcare sustainability.
Drive strategic product positioning in competitive environments.
Translate payer, customer and market insights into actionable business strategies.
Institutional Engagement
Build and manage relationships with key national and regional healthcare stakeholders.
Lead interactions with payers and decision-makers, providing robust clinical and economic value arguments.
Monitor and anticipate regulatory developments impacting pricing and reimbursement.
Act as a trusted internal expert on the Spanish market access and pricing landscape.
Lifecycle Pricing Management
Oversee pricing strategy across the entire product lifecycle, including:
Product launches
Price revisions
Managed entry agreements
Discount strategies
Loss of exclusivity scenarios
Ensure alignment between pricing decisions, forecasts and commercial objectives.
