Job Description Join our Frontend Platform Team and help shape the foundations that power customer-facing experiences across zooplus. The team owns the shared frontend architecture, developer tooling, and platform capabilities that enable engineering teams to build and ship features faster, more reliably, and with a consistent user experience.
You’ll work closely with engineers, architects, and product teams across the organisation to improve developer experience, evolve platform architecture, and support scalable frontend development used by millions of customers across Europe.
Design and evolve shared frontend platform capabilities, SDKs, and application architecture
Contribute to scalable frontend systems, rendering solutions, and platform performance
Help improve testing, automation,



observability, and release processes
Collaborative engineering culture with high ownership
Pair programming, design discussions, and cross-team collaboration
Continuous improvement in developer experience and engineering practices
Distributed international team working fully in English
Experience building modern web applications and frontend platforms
Good knowledge of React, TypeScript, and Node.js ecosystems
Familiarity with CI/CD, cloud environments, and distributed systems
Interest in scalable architecture, performance, and developer experience
Comfortable working in modern development environments with testing and automation
Good communication skills in English
Knowledge of server-side rendering, edge rendering, or caching strategies
Familiarity with observability and monitoring tooling
Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or ChatGPT
