The Role
Loss Adjusters have the job of thoroughly investigating a claim, determining if payment is warranted, negotiating a financial settlement, and authorising payments to the Insured. Once the Insured makes a claim on their insurance policy, you will first investigate the claim in order to determine if the claim is legitimate and whether the policy covers the damage/loss.

The position can be performed remotely from mainland Spain only and will require site visits. Coordinating with international teams will be required and occasional travel is needed.

We are open to receiving applications at senior levels (including Director).

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of Property & Casualty claims in Spain.
- Undertake site visits and meeting with Insurers, Reinsurers, Brokers, Claimants, Insureds and other interested parties.
- Prepare reports commenting in detail on all aspects of the claim including legal and policy liability considerations, potential quantum and future actions.
- Instruct and control surveyors,



engineers, lawyers, forensic accountants and other experts as necessary.
- Communicate regularly with all interested parties, calculating and approving interim payments, preparing interim reports and other communications.
- Calculate and agree settlement of claims and preparing accurate final reports.
