WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?
You will join the
Galileo Satellite Constellation Control Facility (SCCF)
team, dedicated to the development of the SCCF software that is operated at the Galileo ground control centre. We are looking for DevOps engineers who have a passion for code writing, infrastructure, networking, automation, modern CI/CD and monitoring. Someone who is interested in building and scaling robust, secure and highly available infrastructure platforms and is able to work autonomously or as part of a team. You will support the integration with other Galileo teams (GCS prime and other GCS elements). You will interact with the customer (European Space Agency) and end users (SCCF operators), including assisting in reviews, technical workshops,
executing/monitoring formal testing milestones, etc.
In this project, you will perform the following roles:
- Work closely with the Senior DevOps Engineer to ensure the smooth operation of our systems.
- Use technologies such as Kubernetes, Helm, Python, Docker, Jenkins, and Ansible
- Troubleshoot infrastructure-related technical issues
- Write automation scripts using Bash and Python to improve efficiency and reduce manual efforts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?
For this position, we are looking for engineers who have:
- Experience in Linux, MySQL, Jenkins, Bash, and Python
- Proficient in at least one programming language (Bash, Python)
- Infrastructure as code (Ansible)
- Linux system administration
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
