We are seeking a highly motivated Linux Systems & Cybersecurity Engineer to join our Managed Services team at our client's office near Madrid. This role is focused on the maintenance, operation, and security of critical server infrastructures in a technically demanding environment.

The idóneo candidate will have strong experience in Linux server administration , infrastructure maintenance, and cybersecurity operations. You will work closely with technical teams to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux-based server environments.
- Perform routine server maintenance, patching, upgrades, and performance optimization.
- Monitor system health, availability, and security posture.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls, hardening standards, and best practices.
- Support incident response, vulnerability management, and security investigations.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, operations, and security teams to maintain service continuity.
- Contribute to documentation, operational procedures, and security compliance initiatives.
- Ensure systems meet security and operational requirements in a high-availability environment.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in Linux System Administration (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian, or similar distributions).




- Experience working in Managed Services , Infrastructure Operations, or Server Maintenance roles.
- Good understanding of networking, operating systems, virtualization, and cloud technologies.
- Experience implementing cybersecurity controls and server hardening practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary technical teams.
- Excellent communication skills in an international environment.

This is a 100% on-site contract.
