Who are we looking for?

As a Recreation Coordinator, you will be responsible for promoting, organizing, and delivering recreational activities that help our guests make the most of their stay, while maintaining the highest standards of service, safety, and hospitality.

Your responsibilities will include…

- Promoting the resort’s recreational activities and encouraging guests of all ages to participate and enjoy their experience.
- Providing guests with information about recreational facilities, activities, and experiences available throughout the resort.
- Creating a fun, welcoming, and relaxed atmosphere that enhances the overall guest experience.
- Organizing, coordinating, and conducting recreational activities in accordance with The Ritz-Carlton service and quality standards.
- Ensuring compliance with all safety rules, regulations, and procedures within recreational areas and facilities.
- Monitoring recreational activities and responding appropriately to emergencies in accordance with established procedures.
- Identifying situations that may compromise guest safety and promptly reporting concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
- Maintaining recreational equipment, supplies, and materials in a clean, organized, and operational condition.
- Providing initial assistance to guests who may require support until emergency medical services arrive, when necessary.
- Collaborating closely with other departments to ensure a seamless and memorable guest experience.
- Reporting accidents, incidents, maintenance requirements, and unsafe conditions in accordance with company procedures.
- Participating in all required safety training sessions and maintaining relevant certifications.
- Complying with Marriott International and The Ritz-Carlton policies, procedures, and service standards at all times.

What we are looking for in you…

- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.




- Previous experience is not required; however, experience in recreation, entertainment, sports activities, hospitality, customer service, or a similar role will be considered an asset.
- A genuine passion for interacting with people and creating memorable guest experiences.
- An outgoing, positive, and service-driven personality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in engaging and entertaining groups of guests.
- The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- A responsible, observant, and safety-conscious approach to work.
- CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and First Aid certification, or the ability to obtain them.
- Certifications related to recreation, sports, fitness, leisure activities, or tourism entertainment will be highly valued.
- Basic computer skills.
- Fluency in Spanish; English and additional languages will be considered a strong advantage.
- A valid work permit for Spain.
